There is always at least one moment in every person’s life that changes their trajectory. Some defining moments are tied to a person's identity — like August 28, 1963, when Martin Luther King delivered his “I have a dream” speech during the Washington March. Other moments are tied to a person's life path — like when one decides whom they should marry or the first job they choose to take. A defining moment has the power to grow character strengths and determine priorities for the individual.
In organizations, a defining moment can take it from good to great. This year, The Folke Institute experienced defining moments that have done exactly that!

The Folke Institute expanded services to include e-learning.
“Our e-learning launch opened up the doors to clients around the world to take advantage of programs and workshops that will transform your workplace and bring powerful new strategies, open lines of communication, and build workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion,” says Dr. Carrie Spell-Hansson.
We’re continuing with the momentum of e-learning by laying the groundwork for a new and exciting virtual immersive learning experience launched in 2023.
Our client base grew by sixty percent.
With that kind of client growth, we know we’re doing things the right way. We take special care to tailor each program or workshop to a workplace, team, or individual, which has led to positive feedback and excellent results.

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is helping define The Folke Institute’s future.
Dr. Carrie Spell-Hansson, Founder and CEO of The Folke Institute was accepted into the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. The program is an investment providing greater access to learning, capital, and business services.
